I. PROGRAM DATA : SBIR Phase II report -Advanced Fuel Injection & Valve Train Technologies

AN ENABLER FOR ALTERNATIVE LIQUID FUELS

V8 Engine Dynamometer Test Results with Alternative Fuels:

· Controls enable Jet A fuel to match diesel performance

· Sturman technology platform increased the engine torque by up to 7%

· Engine cylinders were balanced within 2% or less (IMEP) variation

· B20, B50 and B100 performance improved to meet diesel engine torque values

· We reduced torque loss for 100% biodiesel from 9.5% to 1.6% using Sturman controls
