An industry leader in Hydraulic Valve Actuation (HVA) systems, Sturman Industries developed our first HVA system in 1996. HVA eliminates the mechanical linkage between the engine valves and the crankshaft and allows for fully flexible engine valve operation. “Camless” operation opens the door to improved engine power, efficiency, and emissions. We have systems ranging from the simplest open loop single-lift system to the most advanced closed loop systems with variable timing, lift and valve profiles.

  In 2000, we drove one of our Camless vehicles to the top of Pikes Peak. In the same year, we took a Camless vehicle on a 10,000 mile U.S. tour. We have operated vehicles from a Camless VW Jetta to a Camless International semi-truck and have run our systems up to 15,000 rpm frequency. Camless truck on top of Pikes Peak
